The Rideau Timescapes App allows the visitor to interact with the visual heritage of the Rideau Canal, a World Heritage Site located in Eastern Ontario, Canada.
More than 700 historic photographs are available through a map interface. Short histories of the canal and its lockstations are available at the tap of a button. And users can slide through time to see the changing landscape in our unique Timescape view.

L’application Rideau Timescapes permet aux visiteurs d’interagir d’une façon tout à fait nouvelle avec le patrimoine visuel des postes d’éclusage qui longent le canal du Rideau.
Une interface cartographique vous donne accès à plus de 700 photographies historiques. D’une touche, vous pouvez accéder à de brefs récits portant sur le canal et les postes d’éclusage, et glisser au fil du temps, à l’aide de Timescapes View, pour admirer les changements de paysages.
